EVERGREY have delivered their 15th studio album Architects of a New Weave through Napalm Records, released June 6, 2026. The album was produced by frontman Tom S. Englund alongside Vikram Shankar, with mixing handled by Adam "Nolly" Getgood — known for his work with PERIPHERY and numerous progressive metal acts.
The record arrives in the wake of a major lineup shift: guitarist Henrik Danhage, a cornerstone of EVERGREY's sound for over two decades, has parted ways with the band after 21 years of service. His replacement is Stephen Platt, formerly of SCAR SYMMETRY, who brings his own brand of melodic precision to the group's signature melancholy and progressive power.
A standout moment on the album is the track "A Burning Flame," which features a guest appearance from Mikael Stanne of DARK TRANQUILLITY — a pairing that feels natural given both bands' roots in Gothenburg's melodic metal scene.
Tom S. Englund described the lead single with characteristic energy: "Our new single is a high-energy firecracker that makes you want to jump."

Beyond the studio, EVERGREY have secured a high-profile touring slot, set to open for IRON MAIDEN on their "Run For Your Lives" European tour. It's a significant stage for Englund and company — one that will expose their evolving sound to arenas full of traditional metal faithful across the continent.
With Platt now fully integrated into the lineup and a dense, emotionally rich album to present, EVERGREY enter this new chapter with renewed momentum. Architects of a New Weave continues the band's streak of introspective yet technically demanding progressive metal, cementing their position among Sweden's most consistent heavy acts.
