HATEBREED are set to headline the second leg of The Summer Slaughter Tour 2026, kicking off on August 20 in Albuquerque, NM and running through September 13 across the United States and Canada. Support comes from TERROR, INCANTATION, GATES TO HELL, TORTURE, and CREEPING DEATH — a lineup stacked with hardcore and death metal firepower.

The announcement comes with a significant revelation: HATEBREED are readying a new studio album for fall 2026, and by all accounts it will be the band's most punishing work yet.

Vocalist Jamey Jasta did not mince words: "Our most ignorant, heavy, caveman-esque record yet." Drummer Matt Byrne backed that up, describing the new material as "way thrashier" and "definitely the heaviest stuff that we've written to date."

The first single from the upcoming album is "Make The Demons Obey" — a title that fits neatly into HATEBREED's decades-long tradition of songs built like fists.

Adding historical weight to the moment, HATEBREED also officially released their self-titled 1994 demo — now made available for the first time officially to mark the 30th anniversary of those foundational recordings. The demo captures the raw origins of a band that would go on to define the intersection of hardcore and metal for a generation.

HATEBREED's combination of a relentless live schedule, a scorching new album on the horizon, and the archival release of their earliest material paints the picture of a band deeply connected to its roots while charging full-speed into its next chapter.

For the Summer Slaughter run, HATEBREED step into the headliner role not as veterans coasting on a legacy — but as a band with fresh ammunition and something to prove.
