NEUROSIS has confirmed a run of new live performances for the months ahead in support of "An Undying Love For A Burning World," the band's surprise-released first new album in a decade.

The record, which arrived without warning in March, quickly became a fan favorite within NEUROSIS's genre-defining discography and was widely hailed as one of the year's standout metal releases upon its release. Alongside the album, the band announced its return to the stage, confirming its first live show in seven years at Fire In The Mountains, set for next week on the traditional lands of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana, by special invitation of Firekeeper Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to reducing youth suicide in Indian Country.

NEUROSIS has now added three more dates to that return. The band will play Hellbender, hosted by The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina, on September 5, sharing the bill that night with ACID BATH, MELVINS and KYLESA. NEUROSIS will then play two homecoming shows at San Francisco's historic Fillmore on October 16 and 17, marking the band's return to the Bay Area, where NEUROSIS originally formed. Tickets for the Fillmore shows go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. PDT.

NEUROSIS Live:

  • July 25, 2026 — Fire In The Mountains @ Red Eagle Campground, Blackfeet Nation, MT
  • September 5, 2026 — Hellbender by The Orange Peel, Asheville, NC (w/ ACID BATH, MELVINS, KYLESA)
  • October 16, 2026 — The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA
  • October 17, 2026 — The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA

Formed in Oakland, California in 1985, NEUROSIS has spent four decades reshaping the boundaries of heavy music, pioneering a crushing, atmospheric strain of post-metal across landmark albums including "Souls At Zero," "Through Silver In Blood" and "The Eye Of Every Storm." "An Undying Love For A Burning World" marks the band's first album since 2016's "Fires Within Fires" and its first with AARON TURNER — formerly of ISIS, OLD MAN GLOOM and SUMAC — as vocalist, joining Steve Von Till and the band's longtime rhythm section in a reconstituted lineup following original vocalist Scott Kelly's departure in 2022.

With additional live announcements expected in the coming weeks, NEUROSIS appears to be building toward its most active touring stretch in years, giving fans across multiple regions a chance to see the band's new lineup perform "An Undying Love For A Burning World" material alongside decades of foundational songs.
