FEAR FACTORY guitarist Dino Cazares has offered fans a tantalizing update on the band's forthcoming studio album, describing it as "new, brutal, heavy, and melodic" and targeting a late 2026 or early 2027 release via Nuclear Blast Records.

The record will mark the first full-length outing for the lineup featuring vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber, both of whom have been touring with the Los Angeles industrial metal titans for over three years. Cazares expressed confidence in the partnership, saying the new material proves Silvestro has grown into a genuine creative force within the band.

Production involved longtime FEAR FACTORY collaborators including keyboardist Rhys Fulber and producer Damien Rainaud, who has been part of the band's sonic machinery since 2012. Bassist Ricky Bonazza also contributed.

Cazares confirmed multiple singles will drop throughout 2026, though the full album release date remains unannounced. Thematically, the record stays true to the band's core concept — the conflict between humanity and machine — while pushing the sound firmly into 2026 territory. "This is going to a different place than some of the older classic stuff... it sounds modern, it sounds where we are now in this genre," Cazares said.

Ahead of the release, FEAR FACTORY will tour with MUSHROOMHEAD before launching the "Cybernetic Domination" U.S. trek in November 2026, with DARKEST HOUR and BROTALITY in support.
