FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have landed their 18th No. 1 single on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with "Eye Of The Storm," marking the longest streak of consecutive chart-topping hits in the chart's 45-year history.
"Eye Of The Storm" serves as the latest single from "Legacy," the band's tenth studio album, which arrives digitally on July 31, 2026, ahead of a physical release on CD, vinyl and cassette set for September 18. Revolver described the track as blending "battering metal chugs with a sense of melody," with lyrics that move through "fears, regrets, burdens, blame, and inner peace" — themes the band has increasingly leaned into as its catalog has matured.
The milestone extends an extraordinary run of chart dominance for the Las Vegas-formed band. Earlier hits "Welcome To The Circus" and "Darkness Settles In" have since been certified RIAA gold, while 2015's "Jekyll And Hyde" and "Wash It All Away" both went platinum, and "A Little Bit Off" reached double-platinum certification — a run of commercial success matched by few other rock or metal acts operating on mainstream rock radio today.
Guitarist Zoltan Bathory framed "Legacy" as a look back over the band's history to date. "Legacy is a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles of two decades," he said. Vocalist Ivan Moody echoed that sentiment while pointing toward the future, describing the album as one that "captures everything people love about the band while pointing toward where we're headed."
Formed in 2005, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have built one of modern hard rock and metal's most durable commercial engines, translating relentless touring and a stream of radio-friendly but riff-heavy singles into a chart presence few peers can match. With "Eye Of The Storm" now standing as the band's 18th No. 1 and "Legacy" still weeks from its full release, the band appears positioned to extend its record-setting streak even further once the album's next singles reach radio.
