Swedish theatrical metal titans AVATAR have announced a 23-date European headline tour, "Don't Go In The Forest '26", running from November 20 in Wolverhampton, U.K. through December 19 in Wroclaw, Poland. Danish death metal act NECKBREAKKER will support on all dates. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 26 at 10 a.m. local time via avatarmetal.com.
"A Europe in November. A Europe in December. Cold, wet and dark. We all know what it's like, and we know exactly what you'll need," vocalist Johannes Eckerstrom said. "The first European leg made us feel very lucky to be doing this. This time around, we will do everything within our power to make you feel lucky to participate. We live by but one ethos: Better than ever. I really want to see you, and you really don't want to miss this."
The European run follows a massive summer that sees AVATAR supporting METALLICA on their global stadium tour and headlining major European festival stages before heading to Australia. The tour promotes AVATAR's tenth studio album "Don't Go In The Forest", released last October via Black Waltz Records and produced by Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STEEL PANTHER, URIAH HEEP). The album follows 2023's "Dance Devil Dance", which spawned the No. 1 Mainstream Rock hit "The Dirt I'm Buried In".
